Edward Gasper helms the role of Cluster Manager – Didactic, reporting directly to Festo Didactic HQ. With over 25 years of experience in training and management and an advanced certificate in Training and Assessment from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency under his belt, Edward has conducted more than 200 seminars, 50 workshops, training more than 300 professionals in the area of fluid power and automation. A trusted advisor in workforce redevelopment, he works in tandem with companies and institutions to assess opportunities and identify specialised skills-based training for workers for numerous manufacturing companies. By leveraging technology and innovative pedagogy to improve the skills training of the Singapore workforce, Edward established the Festo Didactics’ Training Centre, approved by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency in 2015. At Festo, he has also helped establish the apprenticeship programme, which led to the officiation of the NTC-2 Mechanical Servicing Certificate and headed the Customer Solutions department before leading the Didactic arm of Festo in Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia and Brunei.
