Udayan Trivedi is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechatronics and Robotics. His research is centered on the design and development of an active wearable robotic knee orthosis, incorporating advanced control systems, sensor fusion, and real-time operating system (RTOS)-based control strategies to enhance the functionality of robotic devices.
With an impressive academic background, he holds a master’s degree in Electronics Instrumentation and Control from Thapar University. His academic journey includes a master’s dissertation at the National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi, and Bachelor of engineering in electronics Instrumentation from RGPV university and has done his project at the Defence Research and Development Establishment (DRDE), Gwalior.
Previously, he held significant roles at TeamLease Skills University, where he served as an Assistant Professor in Mechatronics department. With over a decade of teaching experience, Udayan has guided students and professionals in robotics, automation, and control systems. He has conducted numerous industrial training programs, bridging the gap between academia and industry by fostering practical learning and skills development.
In addition to his teaching and training roles, Udayan has worked on various consultancy projects, offering expertise in robotics, automated testing systems for solar cells, and 3D printing technologies. His research contributions include peer-reviewed publications on wearable robotics and medical robotics in reputed international journals.
Udayan has also gained international exposure by participating in collaborative projects such as Erasmus+ and UKIERI, which have broadened his perspective on education and research. Passionate about advancing skills in robotics and automation, he is dedicated to developing innovative solutions that improve mobility and quality of life through cutting-edge technologies.
