Nandini Dasgupta is a dynamic leader with 22+ years of experience in corporate partnerships, business development, and education initiatives. She specializes in fostering industry-academia collaborations that drive innovation, build industry-ready talent, and create meaningful impact.
Nandini began her career in the manufacturing sector, managing key accounts like Unilever and Godrej for turnkey solutions. She later transitioned to the ITeS and telecommunications industries, where she led teams at Tata Communications, launching cloud-based voice collaboration services tailored for hybrid workforces.
Since 2017, Nandini has focused on the non-profit and education sectors. At Pratham Education, she spearheaded fundraising efforts for large-scale education and skilling initiatives. Later, at IIT Madras, she led industry partnerships for consultancy projects, sponsored research, and corporate social responsibility (CSR)-driven skilling programs in the Western Region.
Currently, as a core member of the leadership team at NAMTECH (a pioneering initiative backed by ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel), Nandini is shaping the future of India’s manufacturing and core engineering sectors. She is dedicated to building strategic partnerships that align global learning standards with local industry needs, helping establish India as a global leader in advanced manufacturing.
Nandini holds a degree in Economics, Accountancy, and Law from RA Podar College and a postgraduate degree in Marketing from KJ Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai.
