About the program

The global robotics industry is undergoing a transformative shift, driven by advancements in AI, automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies. Sectors like industrial robotics ($13.6B by 2028), medical robotics ($43B by 2030), and warehouse automation ($51B by 2030) are experiencing unprecedented growth, creating a massive demand for skilled robotics engineers. India, with its push for automation under initiatives like Make in India and Digital India, is poised to become a global hub for robotics and intelligent automation. However, the country faces a significant talent gap, with industries struggling to find engineers proficient in robotic system design, AI-driven control, and autonomous mobility.

To address this urgent need, NAMTECH has launched the International Professional Master’s Program (iPMP) in Advanced Robotics Technology—a pioneering one-year, fully residential program designed to develop Day 1 industry-ready robotics professionals. The program offers in-depth training in robotic manipulation, mobility, autonomy, and AI-driven automation, preparing engineers to lead in the age of intelligent machines.

Delivered in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich (TUM) Germany (Asia Campus)- Singapore, the curriculum is aligned with Industry 4.0 standards, providing hands-on experience in robotic kinematics, sensor fusion, machine vision, human-robot collaboration, and real-world automation projects. Program OVERVIEW

The curriculum is structured across four trimesters, starting with core foundations in Trimester 1, covering robotic manipulation, mobility, computer vision, and systems engineering. Trimester 2 advances into autonomy, embedded systems, and network security. Trimester 3 integrates AI, machine learning, and digital twins, leading into Trimester 4, where students execute a full-scale robotics project—designing, deploying, and implementing real-world automation solutions—all while developing critical industry and business acumen throughout the journey.

Candidates who are in their final year (graduating in 2025) or have successfully completed their BE/BTech exams within the last five years (2020 onwards) are eligible to apply. A minimum of 65% marks or an equivalent grade in 10th, 12th, and BE/BTech is required for eligibility (All exams should have been cleared in first attempt with no backlog/ ATKT). Students from the following B.E./B.Tech branches, along with emerging specializations such as Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, and Automation, are invited to apply.

Scholarship of up to 100% on tuition fees are awarded based on academic performance, SOP, interview, and family income. Please note that seats are limited, and the final decision rests with the admissions & scholarships committee.

The iPMP at NAMTECH is a one-year residential program preparing professionals for Smart Manufacturing, Robotics, Semiconductors, and Sustainability. Featuring MIT’s 2.008, it offers hands-on training in product design, prototyping, and mass production. With industry collaboration and cutting-edge technologies, iPMP equips participants for global careers in advanced manufacturing.
Candidate with B.E/ B. Tech (pursuing 8th Semester/ Graduated in last 5 years-work experience in MET and Allied domains are encouraged) with a minimum score of 65% or 6.5/10 CGPA scale Consistently good academic record of greater than 65% in 10th and 12th grade No backlog whatsoever in 10th, 12th, B.E/ B.Tech and Post Graduation (if valid)
