About the program

Sustainability means meeting present needs without compromising future generations. It is essential for addressing climate change, conserving resources, and ensuring long-term economic and social balance. As the global sustainability market heads toward $12 trillion by 2030, countries are investing in renewable energy, green infrastructure, and circular economy practices.
For India, sustainability is both urgent and complex. With rapid urbanization, climate vulnerability, and resource pressure, India must balance development with environmental responsibility. Initiatives like Mission LiFE, the Green Hydrogen Mission, and Net Zero 2070 reflect this commitment. The transition could generate 3.7 million green jobs in India by 2026, yet there’s a shortage of professionals skilled in sustainability.

To bridge this gap, NAMTECH, in collaboration with the Technical University of Munich (TUM) Germany (Asia Campus) – Singapore, has launched the International Professional Master’s Program (iPMP) in Sustainability Engineering and Management. This one-year, fully residential program is designed to develop Day 1 industry-ready professionals equipped to drive sustainability-focused innovations across industries.

With a curriculum developed in partnership with TUM Germany (Asia Campus) – Singapore’s globally renowned sustainability and engineering faculty, the program offers deep expertise in renewable energy systems, climate adaptation strategies, sustainable supply chain management, circular economy principles, and digital sustainability solutions. Students will gain hands-on experience through real-world projects, industry collaborations, and cutting-edge sustainability labs, preparing them to lead India’s transition to a greener and more sustainable economy.

Candidates who are in their final year (graduating in 2025) or have successfully completed their BE/BTech exams within the last five years (2020 onwards) are eligible to apply. A minimum of 65% marks or an equivalent grade in 10th, 12th, and BE/BTech is required for eligibility (All exams should have been cleared in first attempt with no backlog/ ATKT). Students from the following B.E./B.Tech branches, along with emerging specializations such as Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, and Automation, are invited to apply.

Scholarships

Scholarship of up to 100% on tuition fees are awarded based on academic performance, SOP, interview, and family income. Please note that seats are limited, and the final decision rests with the admissions & scholarships committee.

The iPMP at NAMTECH is a one-year residential program preparing professionals for Smart Manufacturing, Robotics, Semiconductors, and Sustainability. Featuring MIT’s 2.008, it offers hands-on training in product design, prototyping, and mass production. With industry collaboration and cutting-edge technologies, iPMP equips participants for global careers in advanced manufacturing.
Candidate with B.E/ B. Tech (pursuing 8th Semester/ Graduated in last 5 years-work experience in MET and Allied domains are encouraged) with a minimum score of 65% or 6.5/10 CGPA scale Consistently good academic record of greater than 65% in 10th and 12th grade No backlog whatsoever in 10th, 12th, B.E/ B.Tech and Post Graduation (if valid)
